Pilates during menopause

Exercising is important during a woman's life especially during menopause and from 50 years onwards.

The body is stiffer and tires more easily, circulation is less efficient and weight gain is more frequent.

Pilates tones and lengthens your muscles (including your pelvic floor muscles), strengthens your articulations and mobilises your whole body. Those exercises improve your posture and lengthen your body shape. This in turn gives you more energy and vitality to live your life fully and more comfortably.

Pilates twice a week in combination with a bit of walking, swimming or cycling prevents greatly chronic back pain, risks of osteoporosis, high blood pressure and heart problems. Exercising regularly also prevents weight gain and regulates the mood.

Our Pilates Classes in Brussels are given by appointment on a one-on-one basis or in small group of 3, with a program specially designed for the needs of women over 50.
